In the heart of Budapest, the Kimpton BEM Budapest combines the city's rich cultural history with contemporary hotel design. The listed building with its neo-Renaissance façade has been transformed into a five-star hotel with 127 rooms and 11 suites.

The project required 11,000 m² of fabric for curtains, furniture and cushions, as well as 380 m² of carpeting. Custom-made headboards and specially developed curtain fabrics underline the harmonious overall concept and blend discreetly into the design.

The interior design by Marcel Wanders is inspired by Hungarian myths and symbols. Floral motifs, bold shapes and ornate details create a distinctive atmosphere that harmonises tradition and modernity.
