A traditional staff canteen has been transformed into a versatile meeting place: with the new ‘dining room’ at its headquarters in Bielefeld, JAB ANSTOETZ has created a space that combines enjoyment, communication and contemporary interior design. The holistic spatial concept brings together different dining, lounge and work areas, offering space for shared breaks, informal get-togethers and in-house events.
A clear spatial structure, fluid transitions and flexible areas characterise the design. A variety of seating options – ranging from cosy lounge furniture and high tables to a gallery-style seating area with an integrated bookshelf – create a diverse range of spaces to relax in. A striking terracotta counter forms the design focal point and adds a bold accent within the harmoniously coordinated colour scheme.
The ‘dining room’ brings JAB ANSTOETZ’s interior design expertise to life. Fabrics, carpets, furniture and acoustic solutions from the company’s own brand portfolio come together to form a harmonious overall concept. Soft shades of pink and green, fresh splashes of colour and warm wooden surfaces create a welcoming atmosphere. Textile surfaces and striking patterns lend the rooms their individual character.
Targeted lighting, along with acoustic panels, upholstered seating and textile floor coverings, complement the interior design. The result is a versatile meeting place with 190 seats that combines functionality, a pleasant atmosphere and contemporary interior design.
