Hinter allen Entwürfen der Kollektion steckt die Absicht, die traditionelle Technik des Handtuftens neu zu interpretieren und eine emotionale Geschichte vor dem kulturellen Hintergrund der künstlerischen Heimat der Designerinnen und Designer zu erzählen.
Das Ergebnis ist ebenso aussagekräftig wie inspirierend, denn ICONS zelebriert Teppichdesign als kosmopolitische Kunstform. Unsere Reise führt uns über Mailand, Prag, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Düsseldorf bis in unsere Heimat nach Bielefeld. Wir erleben einen Wettbewerb der Inspiration und ein Feuerwerk der Farben, Formen und handwerklichen Raffinesse, das in dieser Form einzigartig ist. Jeder Teppich der ICONS Kollektion ist ein handgefertigtes Unikat, das von erfahrenen Kunsthandwerkern in Thailand individuell getuftet und aus hochwertigen Garnqualitäten gefertigt wird.
