Our luxurious rug THE WILD ONE perfectly complements our decoration and upholstery fabrics with its expressive stylised animal pattern.
The handmade quality has a wear layer of New Zealand wool. A cotton warp gives it an even greater stability. The generous design with its exceptionally vivid relief is created by hand-knotting on a dense weft rib. The wonderfully fluffy pile falls casually in different directions, emphasising its natural character.
The colour palette of THE WILD ONE comprises 5 elegant natural shades ranging from sophisticated wool white to a light wheat tone, cool silver grey, a timeless mud tone and a particularly striking black.
These rugs, made in India, are sourced in cooperation with the renowned and charitable Swiss organization STEP which works to ensure fair trade, fights for good working and living conditions, fair wages, a ban on child labour and an environmentally friendly production.
THE WILD ONE is custom-made, which means that we produce every size of rug, both round and rectangular, to order. The repeat size of the design always remains the same, the cut-out changes depending on the size of the rug.
Small variations in colour and structure are characteristic of this quality as it is made of natural wool. A tolerance in measurements of up to 5% is possible.
