LUXURY SHOPPING WITH A NORDIC TWIST

In Finland the department store chain Stockmann is one of the top addresses for fashion and lifestyle. For an even more exclusive shopping experience the Tapiola branch was given a complete facelift in 2017. When designing the makeover of the approximately 8,200 square metres of sales area, the architects Blocher Partners drew inspiration from nature, echoing the distinctiveness of the district of Espoo, which was conceived as a garden city.

The decorative motifs of the flora and fauna that structure the various areas lend the department store a wonderfully relaxed flair. The wallcovering AVIARIUM from the JAB ANSTOETZ brand Chivasso, is one of the special eye catchers used to create the changing rooms of the ladies' fashion department. Further components of the stylish furnishings also come from JAB ANSTOETZ: the upholstery fabrics MATTEO and BOHEMIAN, as well as the carpet qualities INFINITY and TWINKLE.
